What is rutin?

Rutin is a bioflavonoid: a plant pigment from the polyphenol group. It is closely related to quercetin and hesperidin. Rutin occurs naturally in citrus fruits, apples, figs, tea and especially in buckwheat. The rutin in this product is obtained from buckwheat seed.
