Chlorella is a green, single-celled freshwater alga. It is so small you can only see it under a microscope, and it gets its deep green colour from chlorophyll. For the tablets, the alga is grown, harvested, dried and pressed.
Chlorella tablets: which one do you choose?
- Chlorella tablets: 500 mg of organic chlorella (Chlorella pyrenoidosa) per tablet. Chlorella only, without artificial additives. 300 tablets per jar.
- Spirulina chlorella tablets: chlorella and spirulina together in one organic 500 mg tablet. Also 300 tablets per jar.
- Chlorella & spirulina combo deal: a jar of chlorella tablets and a jar of spirulina tablets, both 500 mg and organic.
If you only take chlorella, the single tablets are the simplest. If you also want spirulina, the spirulina chlorella tablet saves you an extra jar. With the combo deal, each alga has its own jar and you take the dosage stated on the packaging of both. We only sell chlorella as tablets. You swallow them with water, so you won't taste the algae.
How do you use chlorella tablets?
Follow the dosage on the packaging: 3 tablets with water twice a day, preferably with or just after a meal. That's 6 tablets, so 3 grams of chlorella a day. That way a jar of 300 tablets lasts 50 days. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep the jar in a dry, cool place, out of reach of children, and do not use it if the seal is broken.
Is chlorella dangerous?
Chlorella has been eaten by various cultures for a long time. Our tablets are a food supplement with a fixed daily dose, and the packaging tells you what to look out for: do not exceed the recommended daily dose, and check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition.
